Head of Banking – Tech & Life Sciences at HSBC Innovation Banking

Glen is Head of Banking – Tech & Life Sciences at HSBC Innovation Banking, responsible for leading client relationship teams that support fast growth innovation businesses, from early-stage, VC backed companies to late stage scale-ups, PE owned and publicly listed corporates. 

With 20+ years of experience in finance, Glen has worked across commercial banking, venture capital and private equity and been involved in 150+ deals. 

Before joining HSBC Innovation Banking, Glen qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC, where he spent 15+ years, including founding PwC Raise Ventures team that assisted in raising finance for early-stage businesses, as well as leading teams M&A and Financial Due Diligence teams in the mid-market TMT space. 

Glen has also served as CFO and Board Advisor to a number of early stage businesses and currently sits as Board Advisor to the Cancer Vaccine Coalition,  a US based non-profit organisation accelerating the development of cancer vaccines.
