Key Criteria:

To be considered for this award, investors should demonstrate their level of activity as well as the role they played in supporting their portfolio businesses with access to experience, skills, contacts and mentoring, or further finance to support the successful growth and scale-up.

This year the award will be focused specifically on celebrating lead investors who take the essential additional responsibility of being the point person in conducting robust due diligence, negotiating terms and providing support to businesses post investment.

This is a prestigious award and as such, the chosen Angel Investor of the Year will be expected to act as an ambassador for angel investing on behalf of the UKBAA.
